Specialist in shoulder, knee and hip surgery. Arthroscopic surgery as well as joint replacement of shoulder hip and knee. Hip replacement is done through mini incision. Knee replacement is done using robotic system. Qualified at Wits University 2015 and awarded Synthes Orthopaedic prize for contribution to Orthopaedic Department at Wits University. Arthroplasty fellowship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. Currently running sports and shoulder unit at Helen Joseph Hospital. Still involved with under graduate and post graduate training as teacher.

    Dr Iqbal is a wonderful example of a Specialist who is very caring of his patients and has so much experience. He is professional and is always up to date with new surgery development. He has helped me with my own knee problem without taking extreme measures first. I would highly recommend him to anybody with orthopaedic needs. Thank you so much Dr Iqbal.
