Catherine Day provides dietitian services and nutrition consulting to individual patients and clients, groups, business corporations and to the media. She also delivers Medical Nutritional Therapy through a one-on-one consultation from the Southern Suburbs, Constantia, Cape Town.

I believe everyone is unique therefore an individual approach is applied to each and every one of my patients/ clients. What works for one may not necessarily work for another person thus it is my goal to work with my patients/ clients to find what works for them. My philosophy is to educate you around nutrition in such a way that you do not need to rely on rigid meal plans to maintain a long-term sustainable healthy eating pattern. This allows you to make good choices irrespective of the food situation you find yourself in. However for some individuals, meal plans do act as a good tool to get you started on your healthy eating journey as well as to assist you with proper portion control.

I like working with a wide range of clients and have five key areas of interest namely: Healthy Weight Management, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Thyroid and Rheumatic Diseases, Pregnancy Nutrition and Breastfeeding (lactation) counselling/ support.
