The science and art of kinesiology
Professional kinesiology is a science of energy balancing, founded in anatomy and physiology. Kinesiology uses the system of muscle testing in order to identify weakness or imbalances in areas of the structural body, the physical body, the brain and the emotions. It also assesses the communication between these areas.
Slight pressure on the individuals arms and legs is used to determine which correction techniques are required to harmonise the imbalances. Professional kinesiology draws on techniques from traditional acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathic and psychological methodologies. When the blockages are released then balance in the physiology, psychology and anatomy of the individual takes place as well as the communication between all these areas.
In a kinesiology session the issue at hand is assessed physically, mentally and emotionally, all through muscle monitoring. Muscles store a variety of information including emotional memory. Techniques used to re-harmonise the client may be physical, mental or emotional. All are gentle and non-invasive.
