I am passionate about nutrition, fitness and overall healthy living. After obtaining a degree in Human Movement Sciences at North-West University, I decided to pursue my calling and completed an honours degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Cape Town in 2013. I am currently registered with the Health Professions Counsel of South Africa (HPCSA) and Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA).

During my community service stint at a government hospital, I spearheaded an after-hours staff weight loss program, wherein the “biggest loser” received a prize.

I set-up my own practice in 2014 and enjoyed it ever since. It was a privilege to author a piece in the book “101 dinge om te weet vóór jy dieet” in 2016.

My consultations and eating plans are uniquely designed, thus looking at your current eating patterns and lifestyle trends holistically and developing a bespoke solution.

Besides being a private practicing dietitian, I offer clinical input in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU’s) as well as performing Discovery wellness days part-time.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, exercising, reading, cooking, spending time with family and travelling to exotic destinations in Africa and abroad.

Enthusiasm is one of my key qualities and I enjoy taking on new challenges with a positive attitude. I also value integrity and strive to treat patients with respect and dignity. Knowledge is power; therefore, I endeavour to stay on top of the latest scientific research and critically evaluate the newest nutrition trends.
